Jumuhoory Party has decided to hold elections for the vacant positions in the party’s national council within the next week.
The secretary general of JP Ahmed Sameer said that there are some vacant positions in the party leadership and the party council has decided to appoint members to these positions. He said that the first priority is electing members to the 2 vacant positions in the party council.
Sameer said that, JP has the best chance of playing a role in solving the many problems the nation is facing today. He also said that JP provides its members with the most opportunities. “We request all reform minded men and women to join our party and take up leadership positions. Leadership positions will not be given based on the time spent in the party but rather based on the capabilities of the individual” said Sameer.
Sameer said that they have not yet decided the number of candidates who will contest on behalf of JP in the upcoming council elections. “Capable candidates are welcome to join us. We are ready to do what we can to help the candidates. That option is available” said Sameer.
