The plot to detain isolate the Chief Justice of the Criminal Court، Abdulla ‘Gaazee’ Mohamed was planned at the VIP Room of Muleeaage، says the State lawyers.
The Crime Scene Report provided by the State stated the ‘flip chart’ found at Muleeaage had all the plans written on it.
The ‘plans’ on the flip chart included the options to send Abdulla Gaazee back to his home island، or detain him at home.
It also mentioned that detaining of the Judge is against the Constitution.
Meanwhile، the legal team of Ex-President Nasheed withdrew from the case stating they believe they are not given enough time for case evaluation and a solid ground to provide legal assistance to Nasheed.
Nasheed is pressed with terrorism charges by the State، for the unlawful detaining and isolating of the Criminal Court Chief Judge Abdulla ‘Gaazee’ Mohamed in 2012.
