Former defense minister Mohamed Nazim has filed his case to supreme court for review. He has requested to review his case after considering the new evidences that has been found regarding the case.
He requested a re-trail including the new forensic report which shows that the pistol found in Nazim’s apartment had former Vice President Adeeb’s DNA. Earlier this month Supreme Court upheld the ruling of the High Court regarding Nazim’s case when Nazim appealed the case at the Supreme Court.
During a preliminary hearing Nazim’s lawyer Suood said that the pistol in Nazim’s apartment was kept their by Ahmed Adeeb and former CP Hussen Waheed. Also when police raided Nazim’s apartment Adeeb، Hussen Waheed and former PG Muhuthaaz were in a vehicle outside Nazim’s apartment. Suood requested to summon the three of them to court to testify.
