The hearing of the case of the former President and the opposition leader، Mohamed Nasheed had been tabled for Monday at the Criminal Court.
President Nasheed was pressed terrorism charges for imprisoning the chief justice of Criminal Court Abdulla Mohamed in 2012، on unlawful grounds.
The hearing is tabled at Criminal Court at 16:00 on Monday. The hearing of Tholhath Ibrahim، the then Defence Minister is also tabled along with President Nasheed.
The terrorism charges were also pressed against the current Defense Minister Major General (Retired) Moosa Ali Jaleel، who was the then Chief of Defense Force، and Central Hithadhoo MP Ibrahim Mohamed Didi، who was the then MNDF Male Area Commander.
