Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) and Jumhooree Party (JP) have assigned members from their respective parties to represent in the Inter-Party Commission formed in their work to defend the spirit of the Constitution.
MDP informed the members representing the party are، MDP leader and former President Mohamed Nasheed، Chairperson Ali Waheed، party’s PG Leader Ibrahim Mohamed Solih، Majlis member Mariya Ahmed Didi، Male’  City Mayor Mohamed Shihab، Majlis member Abdulla Shahid and Majlis member Mohamed Aslam.
Spokesperson of JP Ali Solih said the members in the commission representing Jumhooree Party are، JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim، Abdulla Kamaluddin، Deputy Leaders Ameen Ibrahim and Ilham Ahmed، party’s deputy PG leader and Kinbidhoo MP Abdulla Riyaz، Mathiveri MP Hussain Mohamed and Kendhoo MP Ali Hussain.
The agreement between MDP and JP states they will undertake any measures necessary to defend and uphold the Constitution and let other parties join in their cause.
