Top officials from Ministry of Youth held discussions with Commissioner of Police Hussain Waheed on further enhancing the programs conducted by police aimed for youth.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) informed that during the meeting held at Commissioner’s office on Tuesday، discussions were held on further involvement and assistance of Youth Ministry in the programs conducted by the police in different areas of the country، aimed for the youth.
CP Waheed informed the Ministry’s delegation the details of the police-led programs and highlighted the areas of which the authority require Ministry’s assistance.
Abdul Muhsin Hameen، the Deputy at Ministry of Youth and Sports، stated in the meeting that a positive impact will be imposed on the coming generations due to the programs، especially keeping the youth away from committing crimes and engaging in criminal activities.
Expressing his gratitude to CP Waheed and the Police authority، Muhsin further noted that the programs conducted by the police are productive programs supervised by the current Commissioner of Police.
The meeting was participated by Abdul Muhsin، Youth Ministry Coordinators and senior officials.
