Maldives Government made the announcement of reopening government offices on Wednesday.
Additionally, Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih gave the confirmation of reopening cafes and restaurants under new normal.
Moreover, the Maldives statesman made the statement via Twitter noting the work of National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) will conclude.
Furthermore, all works under NEOC management will transfer under Ministry of Health.
Earlier, Greater Male’ Region came under total lockdown in 15 April after discovery of first Covid-19 positive case in Male’ City.
Following the incident, government offices and all public venues closed down.
