The case pertaining to the man on a motorcycle who disobeyed Police orders and collided with vehicles of the motorcade of an Indian Admiral on Majeedee magu in January 2012 has been sent to the Prosecutor General’s (PG) Office to be sent for prosecution.
The accused is Mohamed Mahin Shafee, 18, of Ma. Dhullisaa. Even though Mahin was not 18 on 13 January when this incident occurred, he has now turned 18. He is currently serving a prison sentence in relation to a murder.
Mahin was arrested while hiding in a house after crashing into the motorcade.
