Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa will officially debut with services welcoming guests on August, reports the resort’s developer.
Developed at Lhaviyani atoll Thilamaafushi, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa is the newest addition to US-originated Marriott International’s portfolio.
Le Méridien is a premier hotelier brand under the Marriott umbrella with its headquarters situated in Bethesda, Maryland, United States and operates its properties in a total of 111 locations as of 2020.
The hotel brand is iconic for its “upper-upscale, design-focused” properties portfolio.
Meanwhile, the brand’s local addition will reportedly include a total of 154 villas in varying categories.
Situated in lower-north Maldives, the luxury high-end resort slip is reachable via a seaplane transfer of 35 minutes from Velana International Airport (VIA).
