President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has departed to Republic of Türkiye on an official visit.
President and First Lady departed today morning at the invitation of the President of Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
During the visit, the President is scheduled to meet senior government officials of Türkiye to explore potential areas for mutual collaboration and enhance the diplomatic ties between the two countries. President and the First Lady is accompanied by a high-level delegation.
Moreover, President will return to the Maldives after attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference- COP 28, to be held in the United Arab Emirates on November 30, 2023.
