Registration has officially opened for Ooredoo Maldives’ annual “Fun Run”, scheduled to take place in Hulhumalé on December 19, 2025.
This year’s event offers participants a choice between two kit options. The Standard Kit, priced at MVR 110, includes a Fun Run T-shirt and wristband. The Fun Kit, priced at MVR 210, comes with a T-shirt, wristband, sunglasses, and a multipurpose bandana. Participants who purchase the Fun Kit can also customize their bibs free of charge until October 31.
The Fun Run, often referred to as “the happiest run in the Maldives,” is among the country’s most popular community events. Last year’s edition saw participation from more than 6,500 runners of all ages.
Open to anyone aged six and above, the five-kilometer event aims to promote health and happiness through physical activity. Along the route, color and water stations will be set up every kilometer, turning the course into a lively celebration rather than a competitive race. Participants are free to walk, jog, run, or even dance their way to the finish line.
Registration is available via Moolee until 23:59 on Friday, November 14, 2025. Ooredoo Maldives encourages early sign-ups, noting that participation slots are limited and expected to fill quickly.
