President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed a message of condolence to King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, King of Thailand, following the passing of Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand.
In his message, President Dr Muizzu expressed his deep sorrow upon learning of Her Majesty’s passing. He noted that Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, will be remembered for her lifelong dedication and devoted service to her country, as well as for her close engagement with communities through numerous social causes over the years.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, the President extended heartfelt condolences to the King, the Royal Family, and the people of Thailand, and wished them strength and solace during this period of national mourning.
