His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed heartfelt condolences on the passing of the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and President of the Senior Scholars Council, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh.
In a message shared on his official X account, the President prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the late Sheikh Abdulaziz’s soul eternal peace in Jannah, and expressed his sincere sympathy to the bereaved family during this difficult time.
The President also extended his deepest condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
President Dr Muizzu noted that the Islamic Ummah has lost a distinguished scholar and trusted advisor who dedicated his life to upholding and spreading the message of Islam.
