Health Camps for Migrant Workers Announced Again in 10 Islands

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has re-opened applications for parties to organize migrant health camps in ten islands after no parties applied during the first announcement.
Registration is open from August 14 until 1:00 PM, August 26, 2025, with bid submissions scheduled for September 2, 2025 at the Health Ministry.
The camps will be held in Male’, Hulhumale’, Thilafushi, Vilimale’, Fuvahmulah, Kulhudhuffushi, L. Gan, GA. Villingili, Naifaru, and Addu City Hithadhoo.
The program aims to identify common health issues among expatriates, detect both communicable and non-communicable diseases, provide immediate treatment, and share health information. Plans also include mental health counseling and workshops.
The Health Ministry says data from the program will guide future health policies for migrant workers.
