New Stars Emerge from “Future Imam” Program with Ali Rameez’s Expertise

The Manfa Association, led by renowned Da’ee Ali Rameez, in collaboration with “Khidhumath” NGO, “Ukulhas Hope,” and “Jamiyyathul Qalam,” is conducting special training programs aimed at introducing a brand-new generation of stars from the Maldivian youth to the noble field of serving Islam.
One notable initiative is the “Future Imam” program currently underway in Sh. Maungoodhoo, organized through the joint efforts of Ali Rameez’s Manfa Association, “Khidhumath” NGO, “Ukulhas Hope,” and “Jamiyyathul Qalam.”
During this month-long special program, Ali Rameez is conducting dedicated sessions for young Imams and Khatheebs (sermon givers). In addition to Ali Rameez, Sheikh Sajid Mohamed is teaching the Adhan (call to prayer), the delivery of Khutbahs (sermons), and the jurisprudence (Fiqh) of prayer. Abdullah Fareed, the son of the late Sheikh Ibrahim Fareed (May Allah have mercy on him), is teaching the art of vocal techniques and essential points of focus. Furthermore, technical experts from various fields will also provide training during the program.
Main Objectives of the Program
The primary objective of the “Future Imam” program is to support and complement the government’s policy of building capable young Imams, Khatheebs, and Mudhims (mosque officials) required for mosques and various religious platforms. A key component of these sessions is to instill in youth the artistry of delivering a melodious Adhan and the skill of reciting the Holy Quran in accordance with the rules of Tajweed.
Organizers hope that this program will increase participants’ interest in religious matters and strengthen their self-confidence. The associations describe this as a significant investment toward increasing religious awareness in society and building a generation raised on sound Islamic upbringing.
Opportunities Open for Islands Wishing to Host the Program
Sh. Maungoodhoo is the third island to host this course. The Maungoodhoo Council has highlighted this as a golden opportunity for the positive development of the younger generation. “Khidhumath” NGO and “Ukulhas Hope” have welcomed councils and associations interested in expanding this program across different parts of the Maldives.
Islands wishing to conduct this program can do so by collaborating with these associations. Furthermore, the opportunity is also open for parties interested in assisting the sustainable expansion of this program throughout the Maldives. The association has stated that the opportunity to experience the joy of participating in this program is open to everyone, by depositing funds into the Khidhumath Association’s account number 7770000129941.
