The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has announced a special event at Hulhumale’ on the occasion of the New Year.
MMPRC said activities will be conducted at Hulhumale Central Park on New Year’s Eve, 31 December, with a drone festival from 8:00 PM to midnight. The festival will feature a 15-minute special drone show on the adventures of a tourist. Fireworks will commence at the stroke of midnight.
MMPRC said a food festival will also be held to coincide with New Year celebrations, running from 31 December to 1 January.
In recent years, New Year has been celebrated vibrantly in Male’ City and across the Maldives.
