Customers of Bank of Maldives (BML) can now register for internet banking services at the comfort of their homes, the national bank confirmed.
BML customers can now, download the application form for ‘Personal Internet Banking’ from the bank’s website and can forward a photo or digitally filled copy of the form to [email protected] – according to the bank.
The standard procedure of applying for BML’s internet banking requires customers to attend its various branches with the physical copy of the application form, however the bank had brought several changes to its operations in light of the viral pandemic.

BML had in their efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and ease of access, launched their internet and mobile banking platforms, payment gateway and digital wallet.
The bank further claims 90% of all its transactions by customers are carried out digitally.
