His Excellency President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has met with the Minister of External Affairs of India، Ms. Sushma Swaraj.
This meeting was held some time today morning at the President’s Office. President’s Office has not disclosed any further details about this meeting yet.
Ms. Sushma is set to meet with senior officials of the Maldives Government، and hold official talks on further strengthening the bilateral relations between Maldives and India.
On her first trip to Maldives، Ms. Sushma will also attend a meeting of India-Maldives Joint Commission. Discussions will be held widely about strengthening and increasing the responsibleness of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Indian Minister of External Affairs arrived in Maldives yesterday.
