India unhappy with Nasheed for making political statement from High Commission: CNN-IBN

India’s CNN-IBN has said that India is unhappy with former President Mohamed Nasheed for making political statement from the Indian High Commission.
CNN-IBN said on its website, “Meanwhile, Indian High Commissioner in Maldives, DM Mulay, met senior officials in the country's government and made New Delhi's stand clear. The efforts from the Indian side continue despite India being unhappy with the former president for making political statement from the Indian High Commission.”
CNN-IBN also reported that Indian Minister for External Affairs Salman Khurshid had spoken with Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdul Samad Abdullah as part of India’s efforts to resolve the crisis in the Maldives.
Efforts to contact Nasheed to get his comment on the matter have not been successful.
Nasheed ‘hid’ in the Indian High Commission following a court order upon the police to arrest him, in order to produce him in court for the trial against him regarding the unconstitutional arrest of Chief Judge of Criminal Court, Abdullah Mohamed.
