The “Food and Hospitality Maldives International Culinary Challenge and Exhibition”, which was held in Dharubaaruge from the 10th to the 12th of this month, has been concluded successfully.
Even though Wednesday was extremely rainy, many had braved the rains to attend the challenge.
36 international companies took part in the fair along with major local companies, such as MHA and MU Store. Additionally, long standing Sri Lankan suppliers such as Nidro supply and Eastern Allied Corporation. Lily International was the main sponsor of the fair. The company’s Nestle products are quite successful in the local market.
The culinary challenge was a success, with many chefs from resorts taking part in the challenge to show off culinary masterpieces. This is the largest challenge of the nature in the country.
