Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) collects a total of MVR 13.5 million as the company’s net-profit for the fiscal year of 2014.
According to the financial figures of the company، MTDC had received a total revenue of MVR 221 million، while the company had made MVR 15 million as net-profit in the first quadrant of the current year.
MTDC had not been performing strongly in recent years، and this marks as the first time the company has topped out at a profiting margin at a fiscal year end.
The company had come out of its deteriorating financial standpoint after they had sold Herethere Resort to a Singapore company.
