Bank of Maldives (BML) has joined the Dhivehi Red Crescent's "Partners for Humanity" initiative.
Under the initiative, the bank will participate in the Red Crescent's activities targeted towards vulnerable populations across the Maldives during times of crisis and normal situations.
The initiative includes first aid, psychological and social assistance, and disaster relief efforts.
BML said that under the initiative, the bank will also assist in the further development of Dhivehi Red Crescent units across the country.
BML has been extending such assistance to various parties, including programs run to assist people with disabilities and vulnerable families.
