Minister of External Affairs of India، Her Excellency Sushma Swaraj who arrived yesterday afternoon on an official visit to Maldives has met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs، Her Excellency Dunya Maumoon.
In this meeting which was held in Kurumba Maldives، both ministers discussed about strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Foreign Ministry also informs that ways that both countries can provide assistance and help each other were also discussed during the meeting
Minister Dunya thanked the Indian government for the help India has been extending to Maldives. Speaking at the meeting last night، Indian Minister of External Affairs، Ms. Sushma Swaraj thanked the complete hospitality of Maldivians towards the Indian delegation. After the meeting last night، dinner was served in Kurumba Maldives on behalf of Foreign Minister Dunya in honour of the Indian Minister of External Affairs. Alongside Ms. Sushma، other members of the Indian delegation also participated in the dinner.
Indian Minister of External Affairs is scheduled to conclude her trip and depart back to India today.
