Following the incident during fireworks display held last night to mark Children’s Day، which resulted in burn injuries to multiple spectators، the government should treat them on State expenses، says People’s Majlis member for Addu Meedhoo electorate، Rozaina Adam.
MP Rozaina made her statement on a tweet she posted earlier today.
On the tweet، noting that the government is always ready to send Police officers abroad for treatment when they are injured، Rozaina stated that the burn victims should also receive the same treatment – send them abroad for the medical attention and treatment.
During the fireworks held last night to mark Children’s Day، a firework cone fell among the crowd، sustaining burn injuries to three spectators – a man and two children – in the crowd.
The three injured were released from hospitals after being treated to their burn wounds.
