Youth members of the opposition parties are organizing a rally entitled “Heyla” against government oppression and tyranny.
The press conference held at the Adhaalath Party revealed that the rally will be held on Friday. It is also said that that the leadership of political parties will be participating with the youth in the rally.
The organizers stated that the rally will be very different from other such rallies. They said that this rally will demonstrate that there are thousands of youth who are against the tyranny of the government.
Abdulla Mizan, a member of the youth team, said that the purpose of Friday’s rally is to let the government know that the youths are also standing up against their oppression.
“This rally is to make the government remember the promises for progress they had made to the youths and later turned back on. Many of the youths will be standing up for their rights that day, and they will let Yameen’s government know that they are not just political weapons to be used for ill purposes.” said Mizan.
