Lumia Denim update، the latest firmware for Nokia Microsoft Lumia devices appears to be ready for roll out on at least three Lumia devices، with sources telling NokiaPowerUser that the OTA update is scheduled to begin in the second half of November.
The same sources have indicated that the Lumia 930 and possibly the Lumia 1520 will get it first with the Lumia 830 already preloaded with Denim.
The Denim update brings with it Lumia Camera 5.0، which adds Moment capture، Dynamic flash، 4K Video، Auto HDR. The Lumia 830، which can’t record 4K videos، can still do Motion Capture in Full HD and with reduced 2-megapixel per frame quality. Lumia 930 and Lumia 1520 can both take up to 24 snapshots per second at 8.3MP with the update، and as Nokia has demonstrated before، users will be able to go straight in to Motion Capture mode from anywhere in the OS simply by holding on to the Camera button.
The new Lumia Camera is also supposedly very fast in comparison to the current version، taking only milliseconds to go from shot to shot.
Hey Cortana
The prime feature will no doubt be Hey Cortana، which will allow for hands-free activation of the voice assistant، simply by saying “Hey Cortana“.
All this combined، the Lumia Denim is building up to be quite the update، especially for those wielding current Flagship Lumia devices (930/1520).
