Dhiraagu has started this year’s apprenticeship program with 25 participants. In a ceremony held today at Dhiraagu head office, the CEO and MD of Dhiraagu, Ismail Rasheeg gave the 25 participants a certificate of acceptance to the program.
Dhiraagu apprenticeship program is a training program conducted by Dhiraagu since 2009, with the aim of training staffs needed for companies and offices in the Maldives. The program is very successful and so far, has trained 149 individuals.
Staffs from regional Dhiraagu centers are taking part in the program this year as usual. Participants include, staffs from finance, customer service and technical sectors of Dhiraagu.
Dhiraagu gives a lot of importance for the development of their staffs. Dhiraagu has only one foreigner working for them and the rest of Dhiraagu staffs are all Maldivians.
While Dhiraagu is a very successful company, they have showed that it is possible to run a successful company without foreigners.
