Bank of Maldives (BML) will be issuing cash cards to the blind people، Human Rights Commission of Maldives (HRCM) said.
In a statement released by the HRCM says the decision was taken in light of agreement during the meeting of Bank of Maldives and Blind Association on 13th March 2013.
The statement says BML addressed a letter to HRMC confirming the issuance of debit cards to the blind people.
However، no confirmation on a commencing date of the service was mentioned in the statement.
Human Rights Commission of Maldives (HRCM) has been، with many other social associations، fighting for the rights، and protecting the rights of the people.
