Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has confirmed they have received 9.01 billion Rufiyaa as revenue by the month of September
By the end of last fiscal year 2013، MIRA received 8.9bn Rufiyaa. Compared to the amount received this year to the amount received in last fiscal year، it is a 26.3% increase، says in a report released by MIRA.
In September، the state received 835.7 million Rufiyaa in revenue، says in the report by MIRA. Furthermore، it says the revenue received in this year September was 4.3% more to the estimated amount، and 24.4% more than the amount received in September 2013.
In September، MIRA received 315.7 million Rufiyaa as Tourism Land Rent and 302.7 million Rufiyaa as GST، states in the report.
Moreover، 79.3 million Rufiyaa as Tourism Tax، 49.4 million Rufiyaa as B.P.T. and 26.5 million Rufiyaa as Airport Service Charge was received in the month of September.
