The Special Needs Centre in K.Guraidhoo was recently renovated and upgraded with aid from Bank of Maldives (BML).
As part of the upgrade, an industrial kitchen was built with assistance from BML. They also donated equipment along with built-in-space to store food.
Under the project, lockers and toilets were constructed along with a designated tea room. A library corner was also developed for staff and patient use.
The Special Needs Centre also received essential furniture such as beds, mattresses, sofa and chairs from the bank.
This project was initiated as part of BML’s 40th anniversary.
