President Dr Mohamed Muizzu departed on Tuesday afternoon for a two-day official visit to Fuvahmulah and Addu City, continuing his extensive series of engagements with local governance and communities across the Maldives. 
The President's itinerary includes crucial meetings with the Fuvahmulah and Addu City Councils, as well as Women's Development Committees, where discussions will primarily focus on identifying and addressing the developmental needs of these areas and the most pressing concerns of their residents. 
Beyond formal consultations, President Dr Muizzu is also scheduled to meet directly with the people of the islands to assess their well-being, with planned stops in Fuvahmulah and within Addu City, Hithadhoo, Maradhoo, Maradhoo-Feydhoo, Feydhoo, Hulhudhoo, and Meedhoo. 
This comprehensive tour forms part of a broader commitment to visit all Atolls, islands, and cities throughout the Maldives, fostering direct dialogue with local councils. 
He is accompanied by several ministers and heads of government institutions, underscoring the comprehensive nature of the visit.
