Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is set to kick-off the first 'Youth Career Expo' with over 1,000 jobs in various sectors later Saturday.
The expo organized jointly by HDC and economic ministry is set to be held in the reclaimed suburb Hulhumale which would be inaugurated by first lady Fathimath Ibrahim.
HDC's HR Director Ahmed Fathih said the expo would include over 20 employers from various sectors with over 1,000 jobs on offer.
"Tree Top Hospital, MTCC, Airport company and Sun Island would also participate. Our aim is to expose youth to the work environment," Fathih explained.
Youth ministry would offer career counselling at the fair, Fathih added.
