Bank of Maldives (BML), on last Saturday made announcement of changes to their banking services from 13 June to 17 June.
Moreover, the bank notifies the changes come in light of the measures implemented by Health Protection Agency (HPA) of Maldives, as well as in line with the announcement by Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA).
According to the country’s national bank, all of their branches will remain closed for the specified week.
However, BML notes “card collection services will be provided at Customer Service Center from Sunday to Thursday” from 10:00hrs until 14:00hrs every day for the specified week.
Furthermore, the bank’s Hulhumale’ branch will open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00hrs until 14:00hrs for card collection.
Additionally, customers who have required permits from authorities can continue to use BML ATMs for cash withdrawals or deposits.
BML further announces their daily deposit limit for individuals is at MVR100,000 and for businesses at MVR500,000.
