The Hahathi Jamiyya of HA. Hoarafushi has officially opened registrations for the highly anticipated Under-21 (U-21) Hahathi Youth Futsal Challenge 2025.
This year marks the tournament’s sixth edition, bringing together six teams — four from Hoarafushi and three invited teams from across HA. Atoll: HA. Uligan, HA. Molhadhoo, and HA. Ihavandhoo.
Team registration closes on December 5, while the final team list must be submitted before 00:00 on December 15. Organizers have urged interested participants to complete their registration through the provided online form.
The tournament aims to offer Hoarafushi’s young futsal talents a competitive platform to showcase their skill, grow their potential, and build a stronger future in the sport. It also seeks to strengthen ties among clubs, associations, academies, and private groups, while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.
A cash prize of MVR 10,000 has been allocated for the champion team. Matches are set to kick off on December 26.
Last year’s Bodoo Hahathi Youth Futsal Challenge was won by the Ihavandhoo NVK team.
Tournament rules, regulations, and arm badges will be shared with all registered teams. Organizers note that this event is a valuable opportunity for Hoarafushi’s youth to elevate their futsal skills and build lasting friendships through sport.
