TTH successfully concludes health camp in Kudahuvadhoo including a training for nurses

Tree Top Hospital (TTH) has successfully concluded a two-day community health camp in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo.
The two-day health camp was held over last weekend and provided vital medical services to approximately 400 residents, reinforcing TTH’s commitment to improving healthcare accessibility in the atolls.
The camp was attended by eight consultant doctors from the hospital who offered consultations across multiple specialties:
Dr. Zakia Ahmed – Consultant in Gynecology and Obstetrics
Dr. Ali Muzni – Consultant in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery
Dr. Magnus Olof Odqvist – Consultant in Orthopedics
Dr. Chandrashekhar Rawal – Consultant in ENT
Dr. Mehmet Oder – Consultant in Urology
Dr. Anu Agrawal – Consultant in Dermatology
Dr. Archana Sharma – Consultant in Ophthalmology
Dr. Uktam Abdullaev – Consultant in General Surgeon
During the camp, Dr. Zakia Ahmed conducted an informative session on gynecological health and fertility management, empowering attendees with essential knowledge. Specialized training sessions were also held for the nursing staff of Dhaalu Atoll Hospital, aimed at enhancing clinical skills and fostering sustainable healthcare improvements in the region.
TTH expressed deep gratitude to its key partners for their crucial role in making the heatlh camp a success. In this regard, the hospital recognized the dedicated efforts of Dhaalu Atoll Hospital, Dhaalu Atoll Council, Kudahuvadhoo Council, and the Kudahuvadhoo Women’s Development Committee, whose collaboration the hospital said ensured the effective delivery of healthcare services.

The hospital acknowledged Manta Air, the official travel partner for the camp, for providing reliable and seamless air travel support.
TTH, citing these partnerships showcased the power of teamwork in improving community health, said the hospital was looking forward to further joint initiatives in the future.
TTH underscored that the participation of 400 residents highlighted the critical need for specialized medical services in the atolls. They added that the initiative established a solid groundwork for future healthcare outreach efforts, showcasing the effectiveness of collaborative approaches in tackling issues related to medical access.
