A dead body has been discovered in the Aarikilhi wetland of Addu City.
Police said they received reports of an unconscious man found on the Aarikilhi area at 9:33 am today. The man, identified as a foreigner, was taken to Addu Equatorial Hospital, where doctors confirmed that he had already passed away.
A local source stated the body was found near the Aarikilhi bridge area behind Addu High School. He was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt and a black shorts when he was found.
Police are investigating the incident.
