Bank of Maldives has announced the winners of Small Grants fund.
The Small Grants fund was introduced as part of the series of 12 high impact monthly community initiatives to celebrate the Bank’s 40th anniversary.
The fund was announced to support Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) implement community-based projects that address environmental issues and promote sustainable development. According to BML, each winner will receive a grant of MVR 250,000 to successfully implement the plan.

BML decided to hold 12 special events this year to mark its 40th anniversary, including the Small Grand Fund.
Activities so far include housing grants, BML start-up grants, further development and modernization of the National Library and the introduction of a BML Scholarship Fund.
