Delegates from British-Maldives All Party Parliamentary Group arrived in Maldives on Sunday.
The three-people delegation was welcomed upon arrival at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) by Additional Secretary for Maldivian Foreign Ministry, Ibrahim Shaheeb.
The delegation is led by Chairperson of British-Maldives APPG, David Amess.
Foreign Ministry has said that the delegates will stay in Maldives until the upcoming weekend.
They are scheduled to meet with Maldivian President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and other high-ranking officials and discuss ways of strengthening bilateral ties between Maldives and Britain.
The delegation is visiting Maldives upon invitation of Maldivian government.
