PPM have said that they are discussing to introduce a legislation that will prevent losers in party primaries from contending in the elections as independent candidates.
PPM said that they are thinking of introducing legal measures that would prevent people from doing it.
Secretory General of PPM, Abdullah Khaleel said that candidates who run independently after losing in the primaries is a huge issue faced by all parties.
Spokesperson of PPM, Ali Arif said that this often happens during local council elections and that this should be resolved as soon as possible.
PPM said that they will discuss the issue with all other political parties.
