Attorney General Uz. Mohamed Anil is set to visit the elderly patients at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) as today marks the International Day of Older Persons.
AG Office said he will be visiting the hospital from 11:30 to 12:30 today، and will spent time with the elderly patients at the hospital. AG will be accompanied by some cabinet ministers.
Furthermore، a panel discussion forum will be held to remember the services by the elderly to the country as Maldives marks 50 years of Independence this year. The panels discussion will also underscore solutions to the problems the elderly people face in the community.
Noting that AG will give a special statement on the International Day of Older Persons، AG Office said the panel discussions will be attended by state dignitaries and some lecturers at university faculties.
