His Excellency President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has sent a message of congratulations to the Prime Minister of Singapore، Lee Hsien Loong for the victory of his party، People’s Action Party in the recent election.
In HE President Yameen’s message، he said that the fact that Lee Hsien Loong got elected by people’s votes show that a large part of Singapore’s population have the guarantee that Lee Hsien Loong will work for the development of the country.
Moreover، President sent congratulations and well wishes on behalf of the government، citizens and himself. President also said in his message that he hopes that the relationship between Singapore and Maldives will strengthen further in the future.
