Former President Nasheed have said that Maumoon will be part of a coalition government formed by the opposition.
Speaking to and Indian Newspaper while in Colombo، Nasheed said that democracy is important to develop a country. He said that Maumoon is an important partner in their work to achieve a good democracy. He said that Maumoon is the President of PPM and the party should always obey him. He further said that since they have disobeyed him، there should be an interim government before 2018.
He said that Maumoon and his supporters are now part of MUO. Nasheed also said that they plan to “topple” the government through legal means. However he did not explain how he plans to do it.
