Fathmath Shaba Aziz of grade seven has been selected as the best all-round student of Nooranee School for the academic year 2014. Shaba was also the school captain for the year 2014.
The prizes were awarded to the best all-round student by the chief guest of the ceremony، Deputy Minister of Education، Sheryna Abdul Samad.
Speaking at the ceremony last night، the chief guest advised students to set a target and work towards achieving it. She also asked of the parents and teachers to assist the students in setting a target for themselves.
Prizes and shields were awarded to students who achieved tremendous results in the Province Test. Moreover، students who got selected in the school Top 10، subject prizes and also discipline prizes were awarded during the ceremony.
A total of 95% of students of the school participated in and passed from the Province Test in the year 2014 to such a level that they will get admitted to secondary school (grade 8). Two students from the school were also in the Province Test Top 10.
Nooranee School is a primary school، teaching for grades between one and seven.
