The visiting Indian youth team has said that they were greeted with a warm welcome by every single person they had met.
The team said that they were leaving the country not because they wanted to leave. "We don't want to leave, the hospitality we got was perfect,"
The team, in Maldives as part of the India Maldives Youth Exchange program, especially noted the closeness and companionship extended from the Maldives. They said they had heard of Maldives before, but they were bowled over by the beauty, peace and joy that they had experienced.
The 50 youth that had visited from India had toured Male', K. Thulusdhoo and K. Hinmafushi. Indian High Commission had overseen the whole of the trip.
