Adhaalath Party (AP) President Sheikh Imran Abdullah has stated that the work of the national movement to end injustice was to bring victory to all.
He made the statement speaking in the rally held in Fuvahmulah on Friday night, which was part of the series of rallies held under the banner “Ending Injustice”.
Speaking in the rally Sheikh Imran stated that in the case of former President Mohamed Nasheed, former Defense Minister Colonel (Rtd) Mohamed Nazim and Jumhooree Party Leader Qasim Ibrahim, the Government had sought to oppress them. He added that this was especially evident in the way the Government had slammed Qasim Ibrahim with measures that had inconvenienced him in every possible manner.
Sheikh Imran urged all to unite to work to prevent such breaches of justice. He stated that all who stood up against injustice, would be rewarded.
“We are working to ensure that the perpetrators of injustice will realize the error of their ways and stop that. Allah had commanded that,” Sheikh Imran said.
Sheikh Imran reiterated that the work of the national movement was not targeted against any party or person. He stated that this movement was started for the betterment of all the citizens of the nation. He urged all to join the movement.
