A male teacher has lodged a complaint against the principal of Aminiya School for touching his stomach without his consent.
Vaguthu received a copy of the letter sent to education ministry by the teacher. The letter says that Principal Naazleen touched his stomach without his consent. The letter also said that once Naazleen took pictures of him when he fell asleep in school due to some medication and then shared the pictures on a Viber group. He requested education ministry to investigate the matter.
Education ministry has not made any comments on the matter yet.
Touching like this without consent can be considered as sexual harassment under Maldivian laws.
