Bank of Maldives (BML) makes a generous donation to Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) ahead of Islamic sacred month of Ramadan.
Moreover, the national bank made a donation of MVR100,000, reports several local media on Sunday.
ARC, one of the most prominent NGOs in the country, continuously attempts to provide basic necessities for families in need of such assistance.
Furthermore, the organization claims the recent donation from BML will find its way as aid to a total of 70 families living in Greater Male’ Region.
Earlier, in 2020, the bank made similar donations amid the Covid-19 pandemic in attempts of providing financial support for less fortunate households.
BML made a donation of MVR200,000 to ARC in the previous year.
The donation made its way to a total of 14 different islands, where 300 families received aid.
