An individual has passed away in the island of K. Maafushi today due to COVID-19, making it the third death of the day related to the virus. 
This is the 87th COVID-19 death in the Maldives in total. Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed the death was a COVID-19 related death. 
The time of death was declared as 9:45. 
Earlier today, an individual passed away in B. Eydhafushi due to the virus, while a death was also recorded in the capital Male' City.
