Health Minister Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim have said that in 2018, all problems related to inadequate space in medical institutions will be solved.
After checking the progress of the 25-story building of IGMH, the minister said that the work is going on according to the schedule and the building can be used by early 2018. He said that this 25-story building will be a beautiful addition to the landscape of Male’ and a lot of advanced medical services will be available from the hospital.
He said that with the Treetop Hospital and Hulhumale Hospital, the problems related to inadequate spaces will be solved. He also said that the quality of hospitals in the atolls are also being increased. The minister said that the number of people travelling to Male’ from the atolls will decrease as a result.
Minister said that with all these project, the health sector of Maldives will attain great developments and people will be able to get excellent services.
Records shows that the number of people travelling abroad to seek health care is decreasing since this government has introduced many new facilities including a state of the art cardiac center.
Next year all problems related to inadequate space in medical institutions will be solved : Minister
