Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Ltd (MIFCO) has issued a call for expressions of interest to recruit a Procurement Specialist Consultant as part of the Maldives Fish Sector Capacity Strengthening Project, funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). The selected consultant will be tasked with supporting MIFCO’s strategic infrastructure initiatives over a 15-month period starting July 2025, with an expected 250 professional input days.
Eligible candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a master’s degree in a related field such as economics, business, law, or supply chain management. Applicants must also have a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including five years in procurement roles related to government or multilateral bank-funded projects. Proficiency in international procurement guidelines, including those of the IsDB, and certifications such as CIPS will be considered advantageous.
